Goodbye 2023

Hello everyone!

It's hard to believe that another year is coming to a close! The PFAnetwork has grown in such positive directions this year. We are a more inclusive community, we are a larger community, we are a more diverse community, and we are a more impactful community than ever before! That's due to the dedication of every one of you to help us become a stronger network to improve the healthcare system for all.

I am writing to you today from East London, South Africa. I had the opportunity last week to join a group of 7 strangers to explore a wild game reserve for four days together. It was a special experience where 7 strangers came together to experience something completely new together. We created an international, interracial, and intergenerational group that respectfully explored our differences as we celebrated the things we share in common. What became clear is that each community has its challenges, but the hope for creating stronger and healthier communities lies in the effort the community itself puts in. PFAnetwork members show up every day in partnership with healthcare systems and with each other. That's a community I am certainly proud and humbled to be part of!
