500+ Patient-Family Caregiver Voices Engaged!

Welcome to the new year – we are giddy with excitement over what this year has in store for the PFAnetwork. The tally is in, and we set a new “high score” across the PFAnetwork. Over 500 unique patient/family caregiver voices were engaged in last year’s community events! From the numerous engagement opportunities to the skills development and peer learning events. That is 500 diverse, different, and uniquely special voices. We are blessed to know each of you.

I am personally honored to say that additionally, the PFAnetwork distributed over $80,000 in stipends and honorariums last year. That is only a fraction of the value in the stories and perspectives that have been shared. But advocating for and distributing compensation remains central. It brings our team great joy evolving the practice of compensating patient/family partners.

We remain committed to not simply growing a list - but fostering a community that deeply supports one another to drive critical improvements in health care. Thank you to all who have contributed your perspectives the past year. You’ve laid the path for more success in forthcoming this year and in the future.
