Who is PFCCpartners?

Hello everyone,

As things ramp up even more going into summer, we have received a lot of questions about how the PFAnetwork is funded, operated, and organized. To be clear, this community is not funded by any one entity or program. Rather it is a network convened by PFCCpartners - and we strive to preserve the space for patient/family advisory members to come together as a community. It is essential that this network provide a safe and brave space for each of us to utilize our lived experiences to make improvements in health care. We maintain that community activities are informed by priorities of members. And skills development events are designed to address the community’s needs.

Who is PFCCpartners?

PFCCpartners is a health care quality improvement organization that develops community engagement programs across the system. At PFCCpartners, we facilitate multi-stakeholder collaboration that centers the human experience of health. We simply want to see the system transformed - into one that works with and through communities as a partner in their health. PFCCpartners programs focus on opening space for patients, family caregivers, and community voices to drive improvements. Our partners include delivery systems, national entities, payors, hospitals, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects. We strategically open space aligned with key levers for change – to optimize the impact of engagement efforts.

And as we work at PFCCpartners to open space in health care - the PFAnetwork helps fill that space.

Many of the projects and programs at PFCCpartners create opportunities for the PFAnetwork. They provide us funding to organize around certain topics and pay Advisors for their work. So keep an eye out for upcoming engagement opportunities, training events, and community activities. The website has all the information you need to stay engaged with activities. And we need your voice now more than ever – our health system increasingly recognizes the critical need for collaboration with patients and family caregivers!

Take care,
