I am excited to share a PCORI Request for Information (RFI) to engage the community to provide input on the opportunities to develop and support the PCOR workforce. PCORI conceptualizes the “PCOR workforce” broadly to include researchers, health system leaders, patients, community members, and others from diverse backgrounds who lead and partner in PCOR.

PCORI is considering programmatic and funding initiatives to develop and support all constituencies that make up the PCOR workforce. For this RFI, PCORI seeks input on the opportunities, gaps and challenges in the current PCOR workforce landscape, and input on additional programmatic initiatives, investments and/or partnerships that would accelerate the development of the PCOR workforce, and facilitate the conduct of PCOR and in alignment with PCORI’s National Priorities for Health, Research Agenda, and Strategic Plan.
