National Launch – IT Patient Family Advisory Council

Ten patient and family caregivers, with experience in accessing patient portals from various vendors in health systems across the country convened for the first meeting of the National IT PFAC.  The diversity of experience, age and region represented in the group will contribute to the increased knowledge base for patients and families accessing patient portals.  The National IT PFAC is a collaboration of OpenNotes and PFCCpartners with a goal of increasing the value and access for patients to their own healthcare records.  Additionally, the IT PFAC provides a resource to any health IT vendor or healthcare organization to collaborate.  If you are interested in learning more about the National Health IT PFAC, please contact

PFAnetwork Yammer Community!

In an effort to enhance the community collaboration and sharing among all of the patients and families serving in their role of Advisor, we have created an online community as part of the PFAnetwork. In this community, held on a networking and sharing site called Yammer, you can share your best practices and projects that you are working, ask questions of other Advisors, and continue to stay up to date on everything in the network.

See here for more information on signing up and using Yammer, or request an invitation from
